Pictured below are a few illustrated Aztec shield patterns. These are a few of the more unusual ones. Standard shields seemed to be a natural brown centre, with a red, blue, green, yellow or white border. It also seems that sometimes they had a shield of these colours with a contrasting border.
Many people over the years have asked us for the colour schemes for the back banners we produce. We have definate colours on a few and they are posted below.
